A Bright Future for the Home Owners' Association By Peter Costello, [Then] Publisher Anyone who has read our HOA columns over the past six months can see that the PSJ Bulletin has made criticisms of the way the HOA has been run. The PSJ Bulletin has printed its views in order to make the leadership of the HOA accountable to our community. The general membership meeting of November 9th [2004] resolved some issues we were contending [with]. The PSJ Bulletin now would like to move forward and proactively work with the HOA to bring about positive changes, even to the extent of offering to serve on the HOA Board. If the HOA is to survive and again become an asset to PSJ, it must:
The HOA has tremendous potential to positively affect life in PSJ. The PSJ Bulletin is anxious to see it rise up and become the valuable and positive entity that it can be. There will be an Executive Board meeting on Monday, Nov. 15th [2004] at 7:00 PM at the Community Center on Corto Rd. The future of the HOA is at a crossroads; it could well hinge on decisions and commitments made at this meeting. We strongly encourage every member to participate. |
